The colors of the sunset are golden and fiery red - just like Autumn!

The mirror wears a golden stola made of Clematis leaves.

The Summer plants recede and the Autumn decoration arrives.

Some Summer flowers are enjoying the final, sunny days.

The colors at the terrace are becoming scantier but the Rose 'Bonica' and the Rose 'Fairy' are shining competitively.

The variegated Hedera helix also takes part in this masquerade.

With sadness I observe the sculpture I gave my husband one year ago.

The sadness of the Rose 'nigrette' is more about the decreasing hours of sunlight!

The pots of the Sempervivum "tower" show the same color as the leaves of the tree in the background.

The sun plays with the stamen of the rose while the chocolate brown Lysimachia leaves continue to blush.

Asters in blue, white, pink and purple - yes, they have now become queens in the perennial borders.

Die Pflanzen am Bachlauf werden müde, der sonst durch überhängende Blätter im Wasser verborgene Bergkristall in Phallusform, (das männliche Gartenelement) wird langsam sichtbar.
The plants near the brook are getting tired. The rock crystal, usually hidden by the long leaves, has become visible in the pond.

You won' t need picknick baskets in the upcoming time but the plants have found a good place.

Soon the water in the pond will be too cold for Mauzi to drink.

The Geranium is still blooming untiringly near the brook and the pond.

In the "Sempervivum-Kitchen", things have slowed down.

Can you see the tender beauty of the Tricyrtis hirta?
In the rock garden some perennial herbs are still blooming near the Sempervivum.

I love my yellow Ornamental apple tree. Next year the corner will get more lively: an Euonymus alata I planted will give this yellow corner a spectacular red.

I was satisried with the view of the paradise gate throughout the whole year. I' m glad I planted a lot of roses and perennial herbs, instead of a path.

This Crocus 'Artabir' reminds me of sunny Summer days.

White is a dominant color in the garden now, not only among the asters.

I love the Persicaria viewed against the light in this contre-jour shot.

The Rose 'Compassion' shows once again the rose rondel how irreplaceable she is.

I am spending more time near the brook. Very soon the cold time will begin and I must stop the pump for a long time.

Then, each of these blossoms will be only "...once upon a time..."!!!

The red wall is a great new detail in my Autumn garden.

In the front garden the Japanese Acer is glowing in front of the crane island.

Oktober Blues
